Legal Assistant

Mbt Lawyers is a leading law firm in the Mid North Coast and Clarence River regions with offices in Coffs Harbour and Grafton.

We are looking for a full-time Legal Assistant to join our Conveyancing and Commercial Law team.

About the role:

You will be a member of our team assisting one to two lawyers with their file load. Responsibilities include:

• Direct liaison with a wide range of client and service providers
• Proactively managing general filing, photocopying, file maintenance
• Diary management
• Word processing
• Experience in using Practice Evolve or similar software
• Excellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammatical skills

About you:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Legal assistant
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Courtesy and good teamwork skills
• High degree of professional integrity and confidentiality
